The Alliance of Civilization Media Fund (AOCMF) is a dynamic public-private partnership with a mission to promote and support media that can affect greater mutual understanding and respect between polarized cultures.

Its undeniable that the media, and film in particular, plays a powerful role in how people across cultures and religions perceive each other.  And, that this role comes with a responsibility.

Based on secular and nonpartisan values, the AOCMF’s mission focuses on promoting an understanding of how persistent negative stereotyping of religious and ethnic minority groups can fuel violence and conflict, and a more balanced media representation can reverse these effects.      

The goal of the AOCMF is to harness the power of the media in a positive way and use its vast influence to affect  changes on the world stage.
